Sarah Kramer
Stage & On-Camera Actor
Best Actor Award - Aspiring Minds Film Festival, 20 May 2015
Role: Jamie in This Woman's Work
I am honored to receive the award for Best Actor at the Aspiring Minds Film Festival for the short film, This Woman's Work! I played the lead role of Jamie, who hides behind a mask of success but who battles inwardly with the consequences of choices she has made.
I really enjoyed the role; it was a great experience playing a character who has to make a very difficult decision while struggling with her personal demons and the consequences of her choices and the actions of others close to her.
This beautiful story was written by Nicole Chandler and directed by Amber Finnegan. I enjoyed working with both women and the rest of their crew and cast. After all the filming and editing is completed, it is always exciting to see the final product. Congratulations to all involved on a fantastic film!
